Sliders Place is a little late to open for visitors this month due to a few setbacks that...well...set me back!
Some are very welcome setbacks such as the visit from Linda and Jana. We are enjoying rehashing old stories and memories, clarifying some cloudy ones and generally happy to be all together. I know that last month I promised lots of pictures but since the visit is still in progress, that will have to wait until next month.

One welcome and unwelcome set back is my much needed updating to Sliders Place. Having no, zero, zilch experience in this area, I realize my expectations were not realistic. Everything takes longer and costs more than expected. I am starting to see some results. My front yard
no longer looks like this:
It took me seven years, but I am off septic and hooked up to sewer line.
One of the upgrades is to make my screened in porch more usable. Especially in the Fall and Winter. I did get a couple of large fans that make it bearable. I am attempting to grow plants out there. I tend to buy plants, they die and I buy more plants. This is what I have so far. I think it is nice with the fountain going.
