JULY 2016

Apologies for late post. It has been a bit busy around Sliders Place.

Time to spruce the place up a bit. I discovered that I do not care much for renovations. Everything you do ends up costing at least twice as much as you planned on. Also no one ever returns your calls.

So far, the screen porch is pretty much done, so I do feel like things are moving along.
This is a before and after of the porch. There is still a lot more to do.

 Thanks to Fuzzy and Neva, I was able to enjoy a little bit of a respite. I spent a relaxing week at Enchanted Isle Resort on Hollywood Beach.

First thing in the morning is the best for the beach.

And for the pool.

This little guy has been hanging around the marina for a few years now. Recently he has been hanging out in the boat barn. It has been too hot even for him.

 I have an avacado on my tree. And I mean AN avacado. One, just one. I didn't know it was there til I bumped my head on it.

This is short this month. I have to start getting ready for a couple of very special visitors. Yaaaay.
Jana and Linda are finally coming for a visit. So that means that next month there should be lot's more pics and fun stories.
