If you have visited Sliders Place before, welcome back! If this is your first visit to the new address, I hope you like the changes. It may be a new neighborhood but it is still just Slider and my trusty sidekick and confidant, Skray.
I want everyone to understand that I am not doing this to change the world or go on brilliantly about any political or societal beliefs or woes. I merely want to share a few things that I have run across that I find interesting, amusing or helpful.
One site I frequent is called '1000 Life Hacks'. It has several categories to peruse and there is something interesting in all of them. I am featuring one of the hacks that I liked. I have visited this site and used it.
I was shopping at my local W.D. grocery last week when I ran across these two signs. Both in the produce department. I think the sign maker visited the beer and wine section before printing them. Keep in mind, the special price is if you HAVE a rewards card. I had to look twice to see it. Kinda makes the rewards card useless.

A couple of years ago I posted the picture below taken at the same store. Seems like they have a problem in the proof reading department. Not only upside down, but check out the spelling.
CRITTER CORNER
In my travels around the marinas I run across a few animals and I try to grab a picture when I can.
The top two are some of the cats at our Haulover Marina in North Miami. The black and white one is deaf and the other lives inside the counter under the cash register. All the cats are doing fine. The employees chip in and get them fixed and buy the food. They are good company for the midnight shift employee who works all night by himself.
The second two is a cat named Bobbie because she has no tail. She lives on the sailboat with another cat. They only come out in the early evening as soon as all the noisy machines stop and the workers go home. The other is a koi pond around the corner from my office and is a great place to just stand and relax.
The bottom is of a really happy Husky riding shotgun on Rickenbacher Causeway. The last is a couple of Canadian Geese that stopped for a break at Crandon Park Marina in Key Biscayne.
