2015 is halfway gone. Don't look now but Christmas is within sight. Also within sight is the plane carrying Linda and Jana. We are watching for it!

Perhaps they won't be arriving by plane at all! Maybe SUPERMAN himself will fly them here. I am sure it would be faster.

I am also sure they are as excited as I am about Hutchinson being officially named 'SMALLVILLE KANSAS" again this year. The celebration ran from June 18th to June 21st.

These are from my trip to Kansas. They were taken inside the salt mine where film and memorabilia are stored in a humidity free atmosphere. It is quite a fascinating place to visit.

When spinning around the internet recently I stumbled upon a site listing gone or nearly gone restaurants around the country. One of them was Lums. I visited this particular restaurant many times over the years and always enjoyed it. It seems to pop into my head when I pass by the spot where it used to be located in Davie.

Our service yard manager came in one morning and found this swarm of bees had taken up residence on the stern of a boat in the boatyard. They left them alone and at the end of the day they just flew off.

Since I already started a Critter theme, I may as well carry it through with

Walked out of the office the other day and found this guy

I found this beautiful creature in the grass next to the dock as I was on my way to the office.

We called Eddie, our resident Critter Whisperer and he was able to get close enough to see that he had a broken leg but his wings were fine. He flew away. He will probably need a cane but should be ok.

This majestic critter was enjoying my patio this weekend

I have referenced this site before. It is a great time killer and there are some interesting things.
The first one would be great if it works.
