Sliders Place: March 2015

Welcome to the new layout for Sliders Place. I hope to be able to do a little more with this set up. It has the capability of hosting pics and videos and links to other pages which may be of interest.

Your comments are invited and welcomed. A lot of what I do at first will be experimental until I get used to how the page works.

Another big reason for this arrangement is the ability to archive and have available past months. I can also update when I want.

ODDITIES

Fifteen years ago my first apartment was on SW 2nd Street.

This week I received a mailing from the attached casino. Stuck to the bottom of my card was another card for another member. I was a bit surprised to see that the address was the same place

I lived in 1999. My apt. was 105.

I have pointed out several times that since I have collected a lot of 'stuff' over the years, I often run across some of these items on television shows and commercials. This happened again with a boom box with a 5in tv that I got around 1974. Last week I saw a commercial for diapers of all weird things and there was the exact same boom box. I have seen others that were similar, but this was the exact same one. Just another oddity.

I have spent the last three weeks quite a bit under the weather. My yearly February bout with bronchitis arrived about a week late and hammered me since early March. I still have the remnants of a cough that is quite annoying. Because of that I missed the birthdays of two of my favorite people.
